The Instructional Technology Team provides faculty resources and development activities to enhance successful uses of technology in Western's classrooms. We provide workshops designed to address how faculty can successfully use technolgy to enhance instruction, a 10 seat training facility, complete with multi-media projector,
and multi-media workstations, with scanners, video capture cards, and enhanced graphics capabilities. We also provide access to an instructional software test server, where networked
teaching materials can be developed and tested by Western's faculty.
Our Graphics Production Staff provides faculty with assistance in developing materials for course use or conference presentation. Graphic production includes multi-media presentations, charts, graphs, illustrations, full-color transparencies, prints, and
slides.
The Media Specialists offer media equipment and videotapes for instructional use and provide audio and video tape duplication services. We haveTV/VCR carts that instructors can reserve for delivery 24 hours in advance and a supply of projector bulbs for most of the equipment used across campus. Our staff can also privide
assistance in the operations of equipment such as LCD projectors and a wide range of video and film projectors. We have an extensive video library that we update annually. Faculty, staff
and students can preview video tapes in room 101 of Tate Page Hall during regular school hours. Our video catalog is also available upon request.
