We have added some features to the Faculty Technology Center (FTC) in TPH room 105. In addition to having 2 high-end PCs, an AV Mac and a software testing server, we have added 12 550mhz Pentium III computers, complete with sunken monitor desks and rolling chairs. An Instructional Technology Classroom Unit adds big screen computing and VHS cabilities to this small training room. Along with allowing faculty access to teaching hardware and software like scanners and video capture devices, this room will also be used to present technology workshops and offer other faculty development activities. Additional new equipment for this facility includes a CD-ROM press, allowing faculty to burn their own informational CDs.
